Word to Juan Cuadrado.
No divorce in sight between the Juventus and Juan Cuadrado who, speaking to the microphones of the Colombian newspaper “El Tiempo”, dwells on the question of his future, removing the market rumors that saw him far from Turin. The former Lecce midfielder, who will go contract expiring only in 2022, then retraced his Florentine experience admitting a growth on a professional level.
“Now I don’t think about the future. I have a contract with Juventus valid until June 2022 and only then will I think about it. It went very well. I have grown both in attack and defensively, and this has helped me a lot to stay focused and maintain a good performance. I found continuity. I’m having a good time, even though I think I’ve had very positive periods at Fiorentina as well. Today, however, I am a different, more mature Cuadrado. I know where to play, where to risk, when to pass it, when to cross or dribble… I’m another version of myself, different from the player seen in Florence ”.
Cuadrado, elected Colombian footballer of the year, then expressed himself for the recognition obtained: “I’m just happy and grateful to God for that, especially knowing that all Colombian players try to do their best around the world. However, regardless of whether Juan or Muriel or Falcao or James Rodriguez wins, it is important to leave the name of Colombia aloft ”.
