Inland gusts of wind are expected at 80 kilometers per hour. At sea, the gusts of wind can even reach 110 kilometers per hour. Now there is already wind force 9 on the coast.
In the course of the afternoon the wind from the west decreases quite quickly and the heavy gusts disappear. Yesterday there was also code yellow for the coastal provinces.
Tonight fog may form in the west of the country and the temperature will drop to around freezing point. According to Buienradar, we have to take slippery conditions into account.
Besides the strong wind, we also have to take a lot of rain into account. Normally, there is 80 millimeters of rainfall throughout December. Tomorrow alone, 30 millimeters could fall. Especially in the west it gets wet.
