Bahia informed that the reports of the expertise that the club hired to investigate the alleged case of racism do not indicate that Índio Ramírez called Flamengo striker Bruno Henrique, “his Negro”.
According to the Bahian club, the Colombian midfielder said: “How much?” for the 27 red-black shirt. The discussion between the two players took place 20 minutes into the second half, when Bahia won the match 3-2 – the final result was Flamengo’s 4-3 victory, for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship, last Sunday (20 ).
In the defeat of the Steel Tricolor, Ramírez was accused by midfielder Gerson of racism. The Colombian would have said to the midfielder: “Shut up, black man”. After the accusations, the foreign player recorded a video published on the social networks of his club saying that he was called “gringo de mer *” by striker Bruno Henrique.
In an interview released by FlaTV this afternoon, Gerson stated that he would never invent a serious episode like this and lamented that situations of prejudice are still common in society.
