Minturno – “Mayor Stefanelli’s Christmas letter literally made us jump out of our chairs“. They are the Minturnesi exponents of Giorgia Meloni’s party, specifically the leaders Moccia and Smith to contest: “What was supposed to be a message of good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, but which instead is in effect a manifesto for the beginning of the electoral campaign”.
To create perplexity among the exponents of Fratelli ‘Italia Minturno are “phrases such as ‘Cultivating hope, it means not forgetting that we are once again proud of our city and our community’, as if the pride of living in a wonderful place is due to its administration, or even ‘we have shared a path of growth that has led us to live a cleaner, more orderly, more culturally alive city and to be a more cohesive and responsible community’, as if before we were not all responsible and cohesive and also ‘ we have not given up on decorating the streets of our city with Christmas lights, to give a smile of amazement to the kids’ monsters, almost as if it were a courtesy of a Santa Claus with the tricolor headband.
They undoubtedly represent – say Moccia and Smith – an electoral spot of the few things done, therefore they can be easily summarized in a letter ”.
But on this note from the mayor, the Minturnesi representatives of the Meloni group have some things to say. “Beyond the certainly deplorable gesture, made a few months before the elections, which incidentally had never been done in previous years, themore serious is that these letters were printed and sent with taxpayers’ money.
Now, that the Mayor wants to campaign by taking advantage of a Christmas message of wishes, listing the few things done, we can also pretend to understand it, but that to do this we use public money we do not accept it, we do not tolerate it and we repudiate it, for this we have alerted our councilor Tommaso Iossa who promptly assured us that he will ask the administration for explanations during the next municipal council “concluded the managers of Fratelli d’Italia“.
